Dr Jonathan C. M. Wan is a medical oncology doctor and data scientist specialising in cancer liquid biopsy, particularly circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA). His research applies computational methods and AI to advance early cancer detection, disease monitoring and predictive oncology
He completed his PhD with Nitzan Rosenfeld at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, followed by postdoctoral training in the Diaz Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Swanton Lab at the Francis Crick Institute.
Awards: Forbes 30 under 30 (Healthcare and Science), MIT Innovator Under 35 (Europe).
